Based in New York, Yakumo Sou is a kennel devoted to the development and preservation of Japan’s Akitainu breed here in America.

 

 

We believe in sustainable development of the breed while prioritizing health. Our primary focus is on safeguarding this breed while encouraging open forum style education for newcomers. We do not support "gatekeeping" the Japanese Akitainu and preventing good people from experiencing this special breed for themselves.
